Back in Ancient times the sun was ruled by the magnificant god Apollo who rode his grand chariot across the sky . Worshiping the 'sun' is not what it used to be! As a matter of fact the 'sun' is the number one aging factor.
Sure it may feel warm and rosey but it's really not worth it.
Now most of you will say, " I don't ever go out in the sun". O.K. if you're telling me this in person, you have come out of your own home and traveled through the streets of San Francisco to see me, therfore you do go out in the sun. If it is light outside, there is sun!
Now, what happens after that warm feeling. Some time down the road, could be months or many years, you may notice some dark spots. That's pigmenation changes they do not improve on their own. The lines come around the eyes, squinting into the sun (light), around the lips, the forehead.
Some really simple tips, use sunscreen. Use it every day. Drink water. Your body must have water for circulation and will take it from your skin . Drink 6 glasses a day and your skin will perk up and so will you, dehydation makes you tired. Get used to the water and the sunscreen. Make it a habit. Find a sunscreen moisturizer combo and leave it on the sink, put it on after you brush your teeth. My favorite is Glymed Environmental photo gel 15. The 30 is good too, but the 15 smells great and is the best light weight moisturizer ever.
You will crave the water once you get used to it. Drink good tasting water not dish water tap stuff. Put a lemon in it. Buy fancy stuff, fill bottles and keep them in the car at work. Balance the water with other drinks. One glass of water for another cup of coffee or chai tea. These are cheap cures, it gets a lot more expensive down the road.......
